Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 929

Today I am thankful:

For a better night’s sleep last night. It makes things look better.

For a delivery of good medicine – chocolate – from a dear friend.

For all the weeds in our back yard because the birds seem to love them.

  1. I’m so glad things are better today. I felt so bad when I read your post last night. It’s hard to know what to say. I should have just said so last night.

In any event – hooray for chocolate, and a good night’s sleep. Maybe tomorrow will be even better.

Yes! A good night’s sleep makes the day better! I must have slept thru a big and loud thunderstorm last night. I was told today ! That means that Manson did too. Very good for us! And you slept well, too. Maybe our joint wishes for each other worked for both of us? So .. Sleep well. Have a restful sleep. I am consciously working on being in the moment. It is not easy at all. But the moments I do capture, give me such peace for the next moment. And yes, I am calmer and more alive for those few moments and a few that follow. It is truly a miracle almost. And this striving, when I remember to it .. become aware .. Is actually exciting. We really can’t do anything except in the moment. And we don’t know what come in the next moment. We think we do because we are always planning. But we don’t. Off on a tangent here. But it is relevant.

I like your birds that are making use of your weeds. Maybe we should do the same?

Good night, Ruth. How were you feeling today?

    Hugs!!

  3. Sleep makes such a difference! When I had to leave my job because of severe burnout, it took me about 3 months to recuperate from all the sleep deprivation. I couldn’t believe how much of a difference it made. I’m glad you were able to get some good sleep last night. Hoping for the same tonight. xoxoxo
