Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 939

Today I am thankful:

That in spite of the continual turmoil in the world, I am able to keep peace in my soul. With a little help from my friends – okay, a lot of help.

Because I have such funny spam comments on my blog posts.

For avocados.

  1. I made my first home-made guacamole yesterday with a fresh avocado. It was amazing. But we’re discovering that hubby’s having a reaction to avocados. So not sure if we’ll be able to have them often.

Are the spam comments deliberately spammy?

  2. I don’t get many visitors to my gratitude blog (which is more than okay with me), so rarely ever get any comments, spam or otherwise, except for yours. 🙂

Today you touched upon a sensitive spot, Ruth. All the turmoil in this world and still maintaining some sense of peace .. and faith, I would add. Reading about Irag and the Ebola virus and so much more, it can shake you to the core. What we do to our fellow human beings … But in the final assessment, what can we do but try to spread happy ripples around our immediate environment? I feel that it is about the most important thing we can do. Like our Sharon does every day. Her belief in what she does is so strong. It kind of sweeps us along, doesn’t it? Not to mention the great battle you are fighting every day, my trooper, Ruth.

And yes!!! Avocado!!!! I love avocado. I put a Creme fraishe mixture in the middle of each half. Yummy!!!!

    • It’s difficult to maintain a sense of peace and calm in an insane world, isn’t it? I try to not worry about things I can’t control; I can only control how I react to them. So yes, we bloom where we are planted. 🙂
