Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 968

Today I am thankful:

For having enough energy for shopping again.

Because I feel good, not just okay, not just better than yesterday, but good, physically and mentally. I plan to enjoy this feeling for the rest of the week at least.

For popcorn. There’s something about hot buttered popcorn that’s extremely satisfying.

  1. Ah, there is nothing like the taste of yummy buttery popcorn!

  2. Hooray for feeling good. My little victory? Discovering that cherry juice really, truly does away with the pain and swelling of arthritis. Cherry juice and popcorn sounds pretty good.

    • I love cherries, and cherry juice, and cherry anything. I didn’t know they were good for arthritis. I need to eat more cherries.

      • Last week my hands were so painful and my joints so swollen I hardly could work. Wednesday, I started drinking a cup in the morning and at night. By Friday, the pain was gone, except for little twinges. It’s still mostly gone, and only one joint remains slightly swollen. Maintenance dose is a half-cup morning and night. It’s good for gout, too!

      • I’m glad you found something that works. ūüėÄ

  3. How I love that you’re feeling good! What joy! ‚̧

    • I’ll enjoy it while I can. ‚̧

      • Yes, relish every second, roll around in that feeling of well-being until you’re so covered in it that it will carry you through whatever comes next. That’s what I try to do on my good days. Steep myself in the peace and well-being so that when the chaos hits again (which it always does), I have a better idea of how to get back to that solid ground again. I’m really happy to see you feeling good!
