Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 982

Today I am thankful:

For the meter readers, who must go house to house in all weathers so we can get our utility bills.

For the truck drivers and train drivers who make long cross-country trips to deliver goods.

For the bus drivers who must not only put up with traffic, but obnoxious passengers too.

  1. There are a lot of “hidden ones” out there, to be sure, and every one of them deserves a word of thanks now and then. Problem is, so many of them we never see. But it’s a comfort to know they’re there.

  2. My very personal dream has been to be a long haul truck driver in the US. I want to drive a Big Mac Truck .. all lit up .. and listen to music as I drive cross country. Apparently a 65yr old lady got her dream when she passed her trucker’s license thing. That is my lady. I have my dog. Now all I need is my Mac Truck .. and my guts and money. In that order 😀❤️😀 So now you know, too ❤️

  3. I’m always mindful of the “hidden”people too…bus drivers, street cleaners, street lamp fixers, garbage collectors…even cashiers in grocery stores…all doing jobs I’m very grateful that I don’t have to do.
