Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 994

Today I am thankful:

For the change of seasons. There is a definite chill in the air in the mornings.

For glasses and contact lenses; the people who make them; and the people who figure out which ones I need.

For bandaids; I’ve used more than my share of them over the past two weeks.

  1. I just drove into Houston today to pick up my new contacts. I haven’t had a prescription change or new lenses in years, so it’s good not only for the prescription, but also just to have a set without the microscopic scratches and such.

Lucky you, to have a little chill. We’re still waiting…waiting… Maybe Monday.

  2. Changes in the seasons …. Yes! Yes! I love the fall for so many reasons … the colors, the feeling in the air, the golden slanting sun, beautiful scents and smells. Winter is a whole other story. And this year, I am worrying about my walks with the dog, if we get a lot snow ice. Winter can be beautiful … conducive to cozy afternoons and evenings. Snowy says to just sit at home and read and just cuddle in to your dog or hubby. But basically, winter isn’t my thing.

I think contacts are a wonderful thing. Ido ‘t need g.lasses, but my daughter in the US does. What a help she gets having contacts!

But now, tell me, why so many band aids?

    ❤️

  3. I’ve been wondering how your toe is, but kept forgetting to ask about it…how is it doing?

  4. It’s getting better. I don’t have to keep a bandaid on it now. 😀
