Gratitude Journal

Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 1,000

Today I am thankful:

Because this is my 1,000th post in this Gratitude Journal – that’s a lot of gratitude!

Because one year ago, I found out I have lung cancer, and I’m still here.

For everyone who has accompanied me on this journey so far, known and unknown; I couldn’t have done it without you.

  1. Congratulations on your 1,000th post! You are light to those “known and unknown.” May your days be filled with love and goodness and may you continue to inspire. Hugs!

  2. Congratulations, Ruth. I agree with Stephanie…you are light to all of us. Your voice, your heart, your generosity of spirit, your gratitude attitude have all changed all of us forever. Words cannot articulate how grateful I am for you. Hugs and kisses, chocolate and celebration. xoxoxoxoxo

  3. You’re a millenial! I can’t tell you how much I admire you for what you’re doing by recording your journey, or how much understanding you’ve brought me. We’ll hope that by the time another year has passed, the only “C” you’ll be concerned with is chocolate!

  4. I look forward to your Gratitude Post every day – when I’m out of cyberspace, I catch up – so appreciate you!

  5. I’m so glad you are here. Congrats on the blog and on a year when you met your challenges head on, with grit and grace!
