Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 1,017

Today I am thankful:

For a cool day – the A/C is off and the windows open all day.

Because our oranges are huge and starting to ripen.

Because my roses are blooming and making the yard smell wonderful.

  1. I’ve tried and tried to find a decent orange. Maybe I’m early. I’ll take yours ripening as a sign of hope!

    • Oranges are a winter fruit unless they’re forced. Ours are organically grown and are so sweet and juicy! I would send you some if I could. Last year we picked somewhere between 2 and 300 oranges. This year, we’ll be lucky to get 50, but they’re 3 times bigger.

  2. How’s NaNo going Ruth? Oranges are the great writing fruit, they say…well, I don’t know if they really say that or not, but may you be filled with inspiration and oranges. Big hugs.

  3. Hubby loves oranges and would early love an orange tree (not possible here!) My Mom and Dad lived in California for a year (I turned 1 there), and always talked about the fresh oranges that they picked right off the trees. And how good they smelled.

I’m so glad your beautiful roses are doing so well! Your yard must smell like a sweet oasis!
