Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 1,023

Today I am thankful:

For the people who work tirelessly to find homes for abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals.

For cherry chocolate chip soy ice cream. We splurged today since we haven’t had it in a long time.

For home-made pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, and anchovies. Yummy!

  1. Very little gets to me more than seeing abuse, and abuse or neglect of animals is so sad. Like children, they have no idea what’s happened, or why, or how to make it stop. Just horrid. So yes, I’ll join you in being grateful for those who do make it better.

  2. Yum on the pizza and ice cream!!! And yay for splurging!! IMO your body deserves as much comfort food and treats as you can feed it, to help offset the crap your body has to endure. Good rewards for getting you through the crappy stuff. That’s how I see it. 😀
