Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 1,027

Today I am thankful:

That the first radiation treatment went well. They had loosened the mask, so I had no problem breathing, and they didn’t restrain my arms.

Because I took the Dexamethasone mid afternoon yesterday with a snack and was able to sleep well. So I took it early again today; we’ll see what happens.

Because my hand is feeling better and better, but my toe isn’t. I don’t know what’s going on with that, but I’ll have to wait until this radiation is over and see where we are.

  1. Well, I see five good things in here, and one puzzlement (that toe). That’s not a bad score. I hope you sleep well again tonight, and I’m really glad I don’t have to imagine you in quite so much of a medieval torture chamber. Maybe by tomorrow your toe will be better, too!

  2. 💜❤️💛💚💙
