Living an Attitude of Gratitude

Day 1,034

Today I am thankful:

For light shawls, and I have lots. Because sometimes it’s too cool for short sleeves and too warm for long sleeves.

For one more treatment done.

For beautiful, red, juicy, flavorful, Roma tomatoes, cut up with a little sea salt. The perfect snack. And healthy.

  1. I have a lot of shawls too, and love wrapping one over my shoulders when my corner of the living room feels especially cold.

  2. If you have to go through crap, you might as well go through with flying colours! I was surprised to discover a few years ago that it actually improved my mood and sense of adventure when I chose bright colours instead of the grey and black that I wanted to wear (to suit my dark mood). Wearing orange or red always boosts my spirit. Same with wearing flowered blouses. That surprised me. I don’t know if it does that for everyone, wearing colours, but now my wardrobe is a rainbow of colour.
