Day 142

Today I am thankful:

For all the experiences in my life, good and bad, because they have made me who I have become, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t change any of them.

That I heard the first cicada today; even though it means a hot summer is on the way, it also means that the circle of life continues.

That I have finally reached the point in my life where I refuse to apologize for who I am. Life is too short to try to be all things to all people. The only ones I need to worry about are myself, my partner, and my dogs. I am who I am.
